Roots & Fins was birthed in 2024 as a sanctuary for people seeking connecting with self, soul and nature. It is nestled in a quiet area near to the dunes and nature reserve. Silversands beach with its ever-shifting sand formations and wild ocean swimming is 10 minutes away on foot.
Roots & Fins pronounced its name in a dream. The place hosts the grounding energy of earth element alongside the infinite rhythm of the waves and water’s gift of flow.
The beautiful Kogelberg mountain range can be explored with a variety of hikes, or just enjoy meandering through the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens. The southern-ocean is home to dolphins, sharks, penguins, whales and many different kinds of ‘fins’ propelling you forward in your creative endeavours.
